    CJL Engineering, of Johnstown, was awarded the Governor’s Employer Award for central Pennsylvania from the state’s Department of Labor & Industry and Pennsylvania Workforce Development Association during a ceremony Wednesday at the 2018 Pennsylvania Workforce Association Employment, Training & Education Conference in Hershey.

    The awards are jointly sponsored by the state’s departments of aging, human services, education and labor and industry, along with the Pennsylvania Workforce Development Association, to recognize exceptional employers and training providers who promote outstanding hiring and workforce development practices, according to a press release from Gov. Tom Wolf’s office.
